The State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has received a Standard Table Tennis Board from a Philanthropist, Mr Mich Meze.
Speaking during the handover ceremony of the item at the ABS Corporate Headquarters in Awka, Mr Meze as a friend of the media said that the donation was in fulfilment of an earlier promise made to the Union.
Receiving the item, the Chairman State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Comrade Emmanuel Ifesinachi, expressed joy for the gift, and enjoined other sports lovers in the state to partner the Union by donating sporting equipment to it.
In a speech, the Chairman 2016 NUJ Media Games, Mr Damian Egwuonwu, thanked Mr Meze for his benevolence and called on other affluent individuals to borrow a leaf from him.
